IBEX BIONOMICS HAS DEVELOPED A GROUP OF PRODUCTS named ENHANCED PROFICIENCY ACTIVATORS FOR PESTICIDES OR EPACS.

 

These are commercially viable, organic products with the potential to revolutionize the agrochemical industry by greatly reducing the amounts of pesticides used, while maintaining or improving efficacy.

HOW EPACs work

 

As a result of lower chemical oxydation and host rejection, EPACs greatly reduce pesticide runoff due to low absorption and high residuality

Some types of pesticides optimized by EPACs  may be re-classified as Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) as per the Kyoto Accord

EPACs increase biological oxidation and reduce chemical oxidation of the pesticide, promoting more effective absorption by the host and faster degradation of residue by microorganisms in the environment

EPACs are made up of secondary plant metabolites compatible with the host’s organic molecules, thus recognized as nutrients and facilitating absorption

The EPACs organic composition optimizes the pesticide’s function, reducing the amount  required by 50%, to as much as 75%

Substantial reduction of the active ingredient results in significant cost reduction for growers, reduced environmental contamination and lower pesticide residuality
